The next-generation of ID.3 has been announced! This all-electric best selling Volkswagen model is set to hit the market with an electrifying upgrade two and a half years after the launch of the first generation. This compact electric coupe really turns heads with a fresh and sharpened exterior design, optimised air-cooling openings, and large painted surfaces to make the front appear confident and colorful. The interior of the new ID.3 combines modern design with sustainable materials and uses the microfibre material Artvelours Eco for the door trims and seat covers, a fabric that contains 71 per cent recyclate. This is a secondary raw material that is obtained by recycling plastic that has previously been disposed of as waste at least once. And with more modern design elements, this model also boasts the latest in comfort and infotainment technology! The compact driver display with a screen diagonal of 5.3 inches is operated on the multifunction steering wheel. Plus the new 12-inch display, removable luggage compartment floor and center console with two cup holders offers a new level of comfort! The ID.3 model is also a beacon of sustainability as Volkswagen implements a carbon-neutral delivery method and furnishes the vehicle's interior without any animal derived materials. Let us introduce you to Volkswagen’s latest edition to the ID. family- the ID. Aero Fully Electric Sedan! This sixth model added to the lineup- after the models ID.3, ID.4, ID.5 and ID.6 as well as the iconic ID. Buzz, this newest edition premiered in China on June 27th, 2022. Intelligent, powerful, and designed with aerodynamix lines, this electrifying sedan boasts exciting features such as IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, LED tail light clusters with honeycomb structure, 22-inch two-tone wheels, and door handles replaced by illuminated touch surfaces. With its efficient lithium-ion battery and sleek exterior, the ID. Aero achieves a range of up to 385 miles. This exhilarating model is the next step in the ACCELERATE strategy of releasing a fully-electric model series in hopes of reducing overall carbon emissions and is projected to glide onto European and Chinese markets in late 2023 with US release dates still to be set. I think it’s safe to say that we live in “the future” now… would you agree? And because of that, car companies are coming out with concepts about new vehicles almost every day! Volkswagen is no exception to that, either. They announced that they will be revitalizing the classic VW Bus into an electric vehicle called the I.D. Buzz, and now they have also shared their plans for an electric SUV called the I.D. Crozz! These vehicles are part of the I.D. Series, which is a series of electric vehicles that are jam-packed with new technology. There are so many innovations with these vehicles, especially the I.D. Crozz - autopilot, intelligent headlights, tons of space, and of course zero emissions due to the fast-charging electric battery. Of course, none of these vehicles are out on the market yet, but they are a great concept that remind us to think towards the future of vehicles and not stick with the same-old-thing strategy.
