Volkswagen: Moving People Forward
As many of us are looking to the new year, VW is already looking ten ahead. Last week, Volkswagen released their TRANSFORM 2025+ program which outlines the course for the brand over the next decade.
“Our goals are high and our strategy is very ambitious. We want to benefit from change and to take Volkswagen into the lead in the new automobile industry with determination. Over the next few years, Volkswagen will change radically. Very few things will stay as they are. In the final resort, the new strategy is a major transformation program.”
Some of those radical changes include a three-phase transformation (restructuring, e-mobility, and shaping the major transformation of mobility), development of its own digital platform, evolve into a relevant and profitable producer in North America, comprehensive organizational reform, and to improve profitability while reducing cost.
Not only does VW want to move forward as a company but these proposed changes aim towards moving people forward both literally, with their vehicles, and metaphorically, with their technology and culture. As always, stay tuned to our blog for all the latest information about Volkswagen!

Volkswagen Alltrack Explores Utah
To celebrate the release of the 2017 Volkswagen Alltrack, VW hired Renan Ozturk, award-winning National Geographic photographer to photograph this impressive vehicle at some of the most beautiful and strangest places that Utah has to offer. Why Utah, you ask? The landscapes of the state are incredibly unique and sometimes difficult to travel to, but the Alltrack has no problem getting to them and actually provides a great subject to photograph. VW Welcomes 2018 Atlas
Part of VW’s success can be attributed to their relatively small lineup. They might not have 20 vehicles to choose from but the ones they do have are done right. So you can assume that when they do unveil a new vehicle it’s been tested both physically and in the market.
Unveiled on the Santa Monica Pier at the end of the iconic Route 66, the 2018 Atlas is expected to make a pretty significant mark on the SUV market when it is released. The all-new seven passenger SUV is America personified in vehicle form as it is completely assembled in America and was built with the modern American family in mind. There will be five trim levels with standard and available features such as 4Motion® All-Wheel Drive, Volkswagen CarNet® System, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, MirrorLink®, and the innovative Volkswagen Digital Cockpit.
“This is the biggest and boldest Volkswagen we have ever built in the United States, delivering the distinctive design and craftsmanship we’re known for, now with room for seven, ” said Hinrich J. Woebcken, CEO of the North America Region, Volkswagen. “The Atlas marks a brand new journey for Volkswagen to enter into the heart of the American market.”

VW Is Unveiling Something Big
The American Dream can be many different things: wealth, freedom, exploration. Well, Volkswagen is helping to make that last one a little bit easier for you and your family with a brand new three-row SUV. Rumored to be called, Atlas, this new SUV from the German brand is the subject of a new video which shows gorgeous views of our beautiful country.
“Our country is so vast, and Americans, they like to drive,” Jim Burch, Volkswagen of America product manager, says in the video.
The SUV can seat up to seven passengers, will have a powerful V6 engine, and offer all-wheel drive.
