Volkswagen Continues Impressive U.S. Sales Throughout September

The vehicles in the Volkswagen Golf family have yet again helped to bring the brand’s total monthly sales to an impressive overall total for the month of September. Total sales for the entire brand during last month came to 26,141 units with Year-To-Date (YTD) sales reaching 264,215 units.

“We would like to thank dealers and customers for the support of the Volkswagen brand,” said Mark McNabb, chief operating officer, Volkswagen of America.  “Volkswagen will continue to work diligently to regain trust and confidence in our brand.”  

Volkswagen September Sales:

• Jetta Sedan sales reached 7,746 units
• Tiguan sales increased by 77.5% with 2,972 units
• Golf R sales reached 462 units
• Golf sales reached 1,193 units
• Golf SportWagen sales reached 1,428 units
• Golf GTI sales increased by 14% with 1,825 units
• e-Golf sales reached 343 units
• Passat sales reached 7,228 units
• Beetle Coupe sales reached 890 units
• Beetle Convertible sales reached 649 units
• Eos sales increased by 64.8% with 365 units
• Touareg sales increased by 77.5% with 2,972 units
