Volkswagen U.S. Sales Increase In July

According to Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA), the brand’s sales for last month increased by 2.4 percent over sales from July of the previous year. In total, the brand’s U.S. sales total for July came to 30,553 units and for the entire year through July, Volkswagen has sold 205,742 units in the U.S.

July Sales Totals:

• Golf SportWagen sales reached 2,602 units
• Golf GTI sales increased by 3.2% with 1,780 units
• Golf sales increased by 163% with 1,890 units
• Beetle Convertible sales reached 1,035 units
• Beetle Coupe sales reached 1,274 units
• Jetta Sedan sales increased by 4.2% with 11,467 units
• Passat sales reached 6,904 units
• Tiguan sales increased by 12.5 percent with 2,407 units
• Touareg sales increased by 16.4% with 676 units
