VW, FAB-U-WISH, Pink Agenda Auction Off #PinkBeetle
“The timing of the launch of #PinkBeetle makes it a natural tie-in to support the fight against breast cancer. From now until September 22nd, Volkswagen, in partnership with Giuliana Rancic’s FAB-U-WISH and The Pink Agenda, is accepting bids on the coveted #PinkBeetle in order to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. The winner of the auction will not only receive the limited edition pink Beetle before it goes on sale, they will also have the exclusive opportunity to fly to New York City to attend The Pink Agenda’s Annual Gala on October 13, 2016, and meet Giuliana Rancic.

Volkswagen Reveals Strategy 2025
According to recent reports, Volkswagen is planning on putting its new “Strategy 2025” into motion. Generally speaking, this plan outlines up to 30 new all-electric or plug-in hybrid models which will be revealed by 2025. Not only is this a move to atone for their recent PR mishap, it’s also a noticeable trend in the auto world.
It was also discovered during Michigan’s CAR Management Briefing Seminars that the 30 potential new vehicles will be built around three different bases or platforms. One of these 30 vehicles will most likely be based on the BUDD-e concept, which we’ve discussed in previous blogs.

Stay Safe with Volkswagen Driver Alert System
Wake up, sleepyhead! These are not words you want to hear from a passenger when you are behind the wheel of a car. But being tired at the wheel is not a new phenomenon. It’s incredibly dangerous to you, your passengers, other motorists, and pedestrians to drive while you are tired.
That’s where the Volkswagen Driver Alert System comes in. It helps to alert you to unsafe driving maneuvers that typically occur when a driver isn’t focused on the road or when it believes you need a break on a long journey. The system monitors your behavior, how long you’ve been driving, and traffic signals on the road. A visual and audible noise will alert you every 15 minutes until you do take a driving break.
