Research & Review Page On 2015 VW e-Golf Released
The 2015 Volkswagen e-Golf has been outlined in a new Research & Review page the King Volkswagen recently released for all interested customers that live near Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda and Germantown, MD. Through this new page, the entire vehicle will be described with in-depth detail. Including information on the performance, safety and standard and available features. This model gets its power by a 115 hp 85kW Ac Synchronous Electric Motor along with a Single-Speed Automatic Transmission. EPA estimate is 126 MPGe City/ 105 MPGe highway*.
Some of the standard features that you can expect to find on the 2015 VW e-Golf include Intelligent crash Response System, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, Park Distance Control System, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, Heated Front Seats and Proximity Sensors.

Volkswagen made out big time at the Plus X Awards this year. In total, they won six awards including the ‘Design Team of the Year Award’.
In one citation one judge said, “Over many decades, Volkswagen has developed a brand identity and has not lost sight of this in the face of contemporary trends. In fact, quite the opposite. From the big picture down to the smallest detail, from the silhouette to the increasingly important light signature, coherent concepts unite functionality and emotion. And they do so on a large scale. Volkswagen’s design team has proved, especially with the ‘C Coupé GTE’ concept car just recently unveiled in Shanghai, how scalable and yet refined the company’s current styling is.”
Two Volkswagen models also earned ‘Best Product of the Year’ and the Passat Saloon, Passat Variant, and Golf Sportsvan all earned innovations awards in the ‘High Quality, Design and Ease of Use’ segment.

2015 Volkswagen Beetle Research Page Now Available
The 2015 Volkswagen Beetle is now available for customers to buy around Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda, and Germantown MD. The Beetle is available in both 11 trims and 11 colors, allowing anyone to find the Beetle perfect for them. With three different engines to choose from, the 2015 Volkswagen Beetle has the capabilities of producing 210 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque to give the beetle an EPA estimated mpg of 31city/41highway. On top of that there are four transmissions available to give you any driving style that you’d like.
Safety isn’t forgotten with standard features including an advanced airbag system, electronic differential lock, and electronic brake distribution just to name a few.
Available features include an aux input jack, eight speakers plus a subwoofer, heated front seats, and many more to make your ride as enjoyable as possible.

Volkswagen is partnering with the YUZ Museum in Shanghai for the Rain Room exhibit. The Rain Room which is one of the most captivating art exhibits of the past few years is an area of constantly falling water that stops its shower whenever anyone steps. This combination of technology and human experience creates an experience unlike anything else. The Rain Room at the YUZ Museum takes inspiration from an exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Entrepreneur and well-known art enthusiast, Budi Tek helped to establish the YUZ Museum and designed by world renowned architect, Sou Fujimoto, the museum opened in May 2014 as a piece of the non-profit YUZ Foundation. This group promotes both local and global artists as well as often lending famous pieces from its collection to various art institutions across the world. The foundation strives to promote contemporary art as well as promote cultural networks between Asia and the West.
The Rain Room announcement adds to Volkswagen’s push to allow for art to be more easily accessed for people across the globe, especially in China. This recent partnership adds to already existing partnerships with the Nationalgalerie and support of New York’s MoMa as well.

The artwork Rain Room makes art a very emotional experience in relation to intelligent technology and the natural elements. It is creating a digitally-enabled emotional connection with the world around us, and evoking sustainability by making us think about precious resources such as water.”

\Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross drivers Scott Speed and Tanner Foust had yet another successful race weekend when they took the track during the Summer X Games. Speed took home his second gold medal in a row when he drove home first place at this year’s race in his No. 41 SHARK WEEK Volkswagen Beetle GR. Throughout the race, he was easily one of the quickest drivers as he won the pole in his heat race and cake back from third in the final to end in first place.
“The final race was the most gratifying of my career from the fact that it took so much work, not just from myself, but from the entire Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross team,” said Speed. “Ideally it would have been nice to just go through Turn 1 on the inside and just check away from the field, but that didn’t happen. I’d much rather win X Games gold that way. It was a fight and when you are able to close on the win after such competition it is an incredible feeling. I’m sure the show for the X Games fans was amazing. I know I can’t wait to get home and watch it.”
Speed’s teammate Tanner Foust came was the fastest in the practice run, but wound up in third during his heat race due to a controversial penalty. In his final, poor track visibility ended up landing him in a fifth place finish.
“This track was entirely different from Ft. Lauderdale, and further demonstrated the speed and versatility of the Beetle GRC,” said Foust. “The dust was eventually the demise of the No. 34 podium hopes. In qualifying we had an issue navigating the track, which only became more difficult as we fell back in the field during our heat race and the final. I’m super happy for the team and Scott (Speed) for walking away with his third gold medal.”
Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) has experienced an impressive sales year so far in 2015 with overall sales coming to 144,006 units. Some of the brand’s best-selling models have been the vehicles in the impressive Golf family lineup. in fact, these model sold a combined amount of 6,308 units in the month of May alone. Overall sales for May increased by 8 percent from sales of last May, with this year’s total coming to 34,578 units.
“We are encouraged by the performance of the Golf family, delivering the best May in 15 years. We are happy to see the full-lineup delivering success, whether it’s the all-electric e-Golf, the TDI Clean Diesel models, the new SportWagen and the performance driven Golf R,” said Mark McNabb, chief operating officer, Volkswagen of America.
VW May Sales Highlights:
- Tiguan sales increased by 16.2 percent with 3,079 units
- Golf SportWagen sales reached 1,788 units
- Passat sales reached 8,180 units
- Golf sales increased by 187.9 percent with 1,972 units
- Touareg sales increased by 26.8 percent with 700 units
- Beetle Convertible sales increased by 6.9% with 1,355 units
- Golf GTI sales increased by 64.8 percent with 1,826 units
- Jetta Sedan sales increased by 5 percent with 12,650 units
